These support items will be maintained ONLY if you maintain your system in our Colocation Facility: We will maintain the system on a (Non-Guaranteed!) battery backup. We will maintain the OS and support software to the extent that you DO NOT and CAN NOT access the system in any way other than the Vicidial GUI. Accessing the Operating System via Command Line is available (at no cost/fee). If you are given access to the operating system, we will be responsible ONLY for the physical well-being of the machine as of the moment you receive the access codes. Warranty: Poundteam Incorporated offers no Warranty, expressed or implied, on any systems sold. The Hardware components purchased have specific manufacturer warranties (ie: the CPU will be covered by an Intel Warranty.) The software included does NOT have any warranty. (This will be noted in the disclosures of each of the software packages.) All the software included is Open Source FREE software. Licensing information is available for all software included. Software is not modified upon sales of the equipment, but in many cases has been "Configured" to be suitable for use. Colocation Options: Colocation is not a requirement for purchasing a system. Colocation: $200/month for 5M bandwidth (+$50 for another 5M total: 10M!) $15/month for offsite backup storage (not including recordings, $50 setup fee) $100 RESTORE fee if you ever need a restore from your backup Our Colocation Facility: Our colocation facility for client servers is located in Central Florida. The facility is hardened and on the 10th floor to avoid any flooding issues. During normal days there is a human in the colocation facility or on call nearby 24/7. Ordinarily an employee can physically touch a server within five minutes of an emergency "down server" call, although most interaction with servers requires no physical intervention. Optional Vicidial Turnkey Configuration: ONLY included if you specifically purchase as an EXTRA option during the purchase/lease of your system. ONLY includes items specified in the list below. This special pricing is ONLY available during the purchase/lease prior to the clean buildout of your system. If you are leasing a cluster instead of a single server, these can be configured as Load Balanced across all servers UPON REQUEST (if you fail to request in notes during purchase, this will not happen). Data Transfer (Backup / Restore / Upgrade): With each method, we will first complete the build-out of your system and certify it working in autodial mode. Then we will perform the Restore/Upgrade (as purchased and/or provided) and recertify the server. Under no circumstances does this pricing include repairing customizations. All customizations must be handled on an hourly basis. Also note that while we rarely have problems with restores and upgrades that do not have customizations, we do not guarantee in any way that your previous system's backup set is properly constructed to function when restored. Any repairs required due to irregularities on a restored system will be charged hourly. You do have the option of reverting to the original certified installation and abandoning the upgrade. That being said: We rarely have problems with Vicidial restores unless they are very technical and most are easily fixed. Usually problems arise from older backups, but are handled fairly easily with either NO extra fee or a small fee. Many customizations can be discarded as they were often meant to include features that are now Stock in Vicidial. Restore from provided backup: If you provide us with a valid backup set from another Vicidial system, we will restore it into this Vicidial server. Backup and restore: You provide us root access to the previous server, then we proceed with the restore as above. Backup, restore and upgrade: You provide us root access to the previous server, then we proceed with the restore as above. Then we upgrade that previous installation to the latest version of Vicidial. Under no circumstances do we include repair of customizations unless those repairs are paid hourly. Nor can we predict how long those repairs may take, unless we wrote the customizations within the last two years. If any form of restoration is planned, be sure to confirm the version of Vicidial we should be installing in the fresh server before we begin.
