Avatar Dialing Beta
This product has been discontinued. It was replaced by The VICIdial Agent Studio Soundboard, which is included in the latest version of the core of Vicidial as of 11/27/2016.
However, for those who have an old version and insist on having the PoundTeam version's pre-release beta, it can still be installed ...
We will install our implementation of Avatar Dialing which is presently in Beta stage. This installation requires a fully functional Vicidial server capable of making outbound calls.
It allows for a single set of sounds in a web form (popup) and allows those sounds to be played in the agent screen upon pressing of the associated button. Next to each button is a text column which should show the text that will be played.
This implementation represents a fully-functional multiple "sound set" (Avatar!) configuration and display system. Each campaign in Vicidial can have an Avatar assigned and run concurrently with other Avatars on other campaigns on the same or any other Dialer in the cluster. The system can be used to completely replace an agent or it can be used to supplement an agent's amory of rebuttal responses (pre-recorded, perfect, rebuttals in the agen'ts own voice!) or even to automate repetitive facets of a pitch or something as simple as a legally required disclosure being verified as played to the client in the agent's own voice (client being unaware of the fact that this was a recorded disclosure).
Installation includes one set of recordings and our attention for bug fixes plus bug fixes from other client boxes. We will also install upgrades during the alpha phase. We will add a reasonable number of recordings (we will show you where you can add them as well, and if you have too many recordings you'll need to perform this task on your own anyway!).
We will require root access to the Vicidial server and root mysql access as well to perform the installation. We must continue to have access after install to perform any bug fixes, you will no longer get free updates/upgrades if our access is cut off.

Short Video Example
There is an editor to define "avatars" which are groups of audio and to add audio buttons to each avatar. Each button has editable text, and a comment, and the ability to choose the order in which they display. The avatar buttons page can be launched as an independent window (from the vicidial web form or web form 2 buttons) or as a script in the script tab. This page can then be auto-launched through the normal Vicidial controls to auto-launch those items.
Also of note, the buttons can be listed vertically with notes or horizontally without notes, as shown above.
